Healthcare Providers

Here at Kaleido, we’ve made it our mission to work alongside people with diabetes to help them find a little more freedom and flexibility within their day-to-day management.

Our two-part system uses wireless communication to link a clean, bright handset to a compact and colourful pump. A simple and intuitive interface makes for an easy switch for everyone from first time pumpers to seasoned pros, helping to improve control with less hassle, and more time to get on with the sunnier side of life!

How does it work?

  • Build the perfect Kaleido
With ten Kaleido colours, two tubing lengths (5cm and 30cm), two cannula lengths (6mm and 9mm) and a choice of how and where Kaleido can be worn, you can help people build the perfect Kaleido for them.
  • Incredibly small and wonderfully wireless
We’re pretty proud to stand out, but if our users want to be discreet, no biggie. Our wireless handset is easy to navigate around and it’s perfect for avoiding any wanted attention – and any unwanted tubing.
  • Simple to use, wear and understand
Kaleido is simple and intuitive. Its ease of use means staff training times should take a dive.
  • Mega precision and accuracy
We’ve developed a micro delivery system for Kaleido unlike anything else around. This new pulse technology means that insulin delivery is more accurate and more reliable with every single dose – right down to the unit, no exceptions.
  • Quick off the mark
Insulin blockages are few and far between with Kaleido – but when it comes to detecting them, we’re the cat’s pyjamas. Thanks to our state of the art optical sensor, if something’s wrong, Kaleidoers will know about it quick sharp.
  • Giving the power back
We couldn’t bear the thought of Kaleido being thrown away, so we’ve made our pumps and handsets fully rechargeable. That means they’re better for the environment, more convenient and our customers get to choose two pump colours for added wardrobe coordination! Goodbye disposable batteries, hello Kaleido!
  • Hey good lookin’
Kaleido’s handset screen is top-notch, with full colour display and a clean, fresh design. It’s the little things, right?
  • Ready for the real world
Kaleido is tough and durable with an aluminium case and the ability to do its work in up to one meter of water, so if our customers want to keep it on when they take a dip, it’ll be water off a duck’s back. When they do take it off, our pause function will keep track of how much insulin they’ve missed while they’ve been disconnected.
  • 200 units
Kaleido pumps all hold 200 units of insulin. But if a customer needs more than that over three days, it’s as simple as filling another insulin cartridge. No need for a whole new pump!
  • Profiles for miles
Kaleido users can save up to seven unique basal profiles (that’s right – seven!). Our profiles can be duplicated for ease of use and they’re easy to edit too.
  • Temporary basal rates
We know how useful temporary basal rates are, and because they’re often needed at times when things aren’t quite going to plan, we’ve made them super easy to set up, configure and stop when necessary.
  • We like to bolus
As well as our bolus calculator, Kaleidoculator, we’ve got two different types of bolus – Quick and Extended, for use with different meals and situations. Kaleidoculator has three adjustable insulin to carb and insulin to BG ratios, and insulin on board is calculated using a linear decay that includes all boluses.
  • Customer care with heart
With Kaleido Care always on hand to help, Kaleido leads to a drop in demand for support and training from your team.
