    How can I get my hands on Kaleido?

    You can ask your healthcare professional about Kaleido, and they’ll talk you through whether insulin pump therapy could work for you. If they think pumping is a good fit, they can prescribe Kaleido.

    How is Kaleido different to other insulin pumps?

    Kaleido is a nifty blend of conventional tube insulin pump and patch pump. You can wear Kaleido safely and securely on your body using our hook and loop body patches, but with a choice of infusion sets and tubing lengths, it’s just as easy to slip your Kaleido into a pocket or clip it to clothing –
    whatever suits you! Kaleido has plenty of options to work with your lifestyle – whether that means a 6mm or 9mm cannula or a coordinating pump colour to match your new trainers! We’ve never understood why medical devices have to look so… medical. Kaleido is an insulin pump you can be proud of.

    Will it be reimbursed by my health insurance?

    Yes! We’ve been working really hard to make sure that Kaleido is available through the Dutch Health Insurance Companies, with no direct costs for anyone that chooses to use Kaleido. Whether you are eligible for the system always depends on your healthcare professional and health insurance.

    Kaleido is currently available through reimbursement in the Netherlands, France and Germany. If you’re based in any of these countries, get in touch with your healthcare professional to get your hands on Kaleido. Kaleido is not currently available in any other country, but we can’t wait to launch where you are, too!
